Maybe you've already found a potato or two in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Every single one of these tubers is connected with a secret, or more precisely, with a quest. This guide explains how to solve the golden potato's mystery.

The golden potato has been around for several months in Disney's Dreamlight Valley. However, in the beginning, it was completely unclear what this mystical tuber is all about. In the meantime, however, the mystery surrounding the golden potato has been solved.

How to get the Golden Potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley

If you don't have the golden tuber yet, we'll explain how to get it. The whole thing is very quick and easy. First, open your Dreamlight Valley menu and click on Settings. There you select the tab Help. Here you will see an input field where you must enter the following code: GPOT-OATO-LDFS-ENNM.

Once you have entered the code, click on Claim. You'll have the golden potato in your mailbox, from where you can switch it into your inventory.

Solve the Mystery of the Golden Potato

To shed light on the potato mystery and collect the mysterious reward, a total of four steps are necessary:

• Go to the Dazzle Beach in the mystical cave, which you surely remember from your first quests. At the bottom, you will find a stone table with which you can interact. Place the potato there, and you will receive a Golden Carrot in exchange.

• With the golden carrot, you'll next go to Frosty Heights and there to Elsa's cave. You can put the carrot on the ice table in the first room. In return, you will get a Golden Crab.
• Now you must bring this crab to the main square and then to the castle. Run up the stairs to the top and turn around. Step towards the railing in the left corner until the three question marks appear again, showing you that you can drop the crab. For this exchange, you will receive the Golden Night Thorn.
• With the night thorn, you go back to the main square and into Merlin's house. Here you can place the golden thorn on the wizard's desk. This completes the quest, and you will receive the Gleaming Gold Potion as a reward.
