World War 3 is always most fun when you’re marauding across the maps with a full squad, but how exactly can you actually add friends to World War 3 and then invite them into a lobby?
Groups have these advantages: If you play together with your friends in a squad, you can level up much faster, have a coordinated game experience and quickly dominate entire lobbies. However, you’ll have to add them to your WW3 friends list first, because it’s not as easy to do via Steam.
Add friends in World War 3 & start lobby – This is how it works
To add a friend to your friends list, you need to go to the main menu of World War 3 and look in the upper right corner. Here you will find the sub-item “Friends”. Click on it and then press either the “F” key or “Add Friend” at the bottom of the screen. Here you do not enter the Steam name of your friend.
To add your friend to World War 3, you will need to enter their World War 3 display name here. This is the name each player gives themselves when they first start the shooter, and your friends can see their name at the top of the screen next to their level.
How do I start a lobby? Back in WW3’s Friends menu, you’ll find three options on the left, the middle one of which will take you to your desired destination. #
