To always get enough Metal Scraps during your adventure, you must regularly head out into the open world of Enshrouded and fight certain types of enemies. You won't get metal scrap from the enemies that wander through the mist, but only from human-like creatures. As a rule of thumb, all enemies wielding metal weapons will also drop Metal Scraps. Destroying objects made of metal is also a good and safe source of Metal Scraps in Enshrouded. This includes barrels or tables, for example.
Another useful tip: You can loot the individual enemy groups and locations in Enshrouded over and over again and farm Metal Scraps endlessly. To do this, simply reload your saved game at a time when you have not yet scavenged the relevant sources. Here are two spots where you can find a good amount of Metal Scraps at the start of the game.
Metal Scraps are one of the most essential crafting basics in Enshrouded. For example, you need it to produce metal plates or to craft the Grappling Hook. This tool helps you pass seemingly insurmountable obstacles by using the hook to pull yourself up or over them. All you require for this tool is a workbench, which you can quickly make yourself in the crafting menu with 3x String and 8x wooden logs.
