Plant Fiber is one of the most common resources that will be in great demand throughout the playthrough, especially in the early game. In our case, we were looking for it to create a String, and we found some effective methods on how to get Plant Fiber in Enshrouded.

Content of the guide: Next, you will learn where to find Plant Fiber, how to create a farm of this resource, and what it is used for.

  • You can find Plant Fiber by collecting bushes in the wild.
  • You can also build a farm to grow Plant Fiber at a large scale.
  • Plant Fiber is used for more than 20 recipes.

How to Obtain Plant Fiber in Enshrouded

Enshrouded Fiber

One of the most common resources.

If you need a small amount of this resource, you can get it quickly and without any problems. You can collect Plant Fiber from literally every bush or small grass you find in the world. The only exceptions are bushes that grow fruits, such as purple berries. To get Plant Fiber from bushes, simply walk up to them and press the E key. By doing so, you will get 2–3 pieces of this resource. Thus, walking around the world for 10–15 minutes, you can collect a large amount of Plant Fiber, which is enough for almost any craft.

How to Create your own Plant Fiber Farm

If you need a lot of Plant Fiber, we recommend creating your bush farm on your base or near it. To do this, you will first need to rescue a Farmer. She is located in the Ancient Vault, in the northern part of the Springlands. You can access this character almost from the very beginning of the game by completing the Growing Stronger Together quest.

Once you rescue Farmer, you can unlock new recipes. Just talk to her about creating flower beds. Next, you'll need to prepare a few things, namely Farm Soil and Seedbed. Farm Soil is easy to create, you just need to combine the following resources:

  • Bonemeal x3
  • Dirt x7
Farm Soil

Take a look at the Farm Soil recipe.

Bonemeal can be obtained by killing skeletons, or by crushing bones in Grinding Stones. Soil is much easier to get, just dig it up anywhere. Once you've created Farm Soil, the next step is to build a Seedbed. Fortunately, this also doesn't require any hard-to-find resources, so here's what you need:

Enshrouded Seedbed

Here, you can see the Seedbed recipe.

Finally, when you have placed the Seedbed somewhere, you can start growing. To do this, you will need to plant Shrub seedlings there. Luckily, it's not hard to get them, as they will automatically be available if you find a Farmer.

You can convert one Plant Fiber into one Shrub seedling and plant it. As a result, after some time, when the plant grows, you can harvest it and get as many as five Plant Fibers. This way, you can create several dozen Seedbeds and plant them with seeds to have a huge amount of this resource in stock in the long run.
