In the magic RPG Hogwarts Legacy, you can not only summon spells and brew potions, but also use certain plants to weaken your opponents in battle. One of them is the Venomous Tentacula.
There are a total of three plants in Hogwarts Legacy that you can equip like spells or potions. This item is shown to you at the bottom left of the screen, to the right of the mini-map. The three plants you can equip there are:
- The Mandrake
- The Chinese Chomping Cabbage
- The Venomous Tentacula
The Venomous Tentacula is an extremely poisonous tentacled plant. If you use one of these plants during a battle, it will assist you by firing acid at enemies in the immediate vicinity, causing damage. We’ll show you how to get the valuable plant in our guide.

Growing Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy
You can grow Venomous Tentacula yourself in your Room of Requirement in Hogwarts Legacy. To do this, you will logically need the appropriate seeds. You can buy them from Beatrice Green in the Dogweed and Deathcap store in Hogsmeade for 1,050 Galleons.
At first glance, this is a very high price for a bit of seed. However, it is a one-time investment, because once you plant the seeds in your Room of Requirement, they are permanently unlocked and you can grow them again and again without paying for them again. However, you will need large pots to grow the Venomous Tentacula. Once you have planted the seeds, you can harvest the full-grown Venomous Tentacula after 15 minutes.
Buy Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy
If you don’t want to grow the plant yourself because you might not have large enough pots available, you can also buy the plant directly. You can also buy the adult Venomous Tentacula at the Dogweed and Deathcap store in Hogsmeade.
One adult plant costs 600 galleons. However, you can use them only once in battle. In the long run, you should grow the tentacle plant yourself.
