How to Farm & Use Beryllium In Starfield

Deutsch English

Most of the crafts and structures in Starfield require resources, and the problem is that they run out pretty quickly. One of these resources is Beryllium, which you’ll meet from the beginning of the game, and it will become an integral part of your travels. So in this guide, you will learn where to farm Beryllium in Starfield.

As with other materials, Beryllium can be purchased or obtained manually. Below, we have described these two options and the recommendations you should follow to get the most out of them.

Starfield: Where To Get Beryllium Manually

Starfield: Beryllium

There are over 1000 planets in the game, and you will definitely find Beryllium deposits on several of them. The effectiveness depends on how hard you search, as well as on the skill you have leveled up. We recommend that you level up these skills to make your search easier:

  • Geology: Allows you to get more resources from surfaces.
  • Scanning: Allows you to more thoroughly explore planets and satellites for resources.

With this arsenal of skills, you’ll have no trouble finding Beryllium and other resources. But still, it can be time-consuming, so we have found several planets that are filled with this resource, namely:

Planet Star system
Rell Cheyenne
Codos Cheyenne
Smet Cheyenne
Grizzit Cheyenne
Antharum Cheyenne
Volii Beta Volii
Kindi Valo
Chthonia Wolf

In addition to these planets, you can find many others, perhaps even with larger deposits of Beryllium, so don’t hesitate and go searching.

In addition to manually extracting Beryllium with a cutter, you can also obtain it with an extractor. To do this, you will need to find a deposit of this resource and follow the steps below:

  • Build an outpost near the deposit.
  • Build an extractor near the deposit.
  • Place a power source for the extractor.

This way, you will ensure passive resource extraction and then go and so some quests, after which you can return and collect the accumulated Beryllium.

Starfield: Where To Buy Beryllium

If you don’t want to waste time manually searching for a resource and prefer to spend your Credits, the game provides such opportunities. Fortunately, Beryllium is not expensive and costs 0.5 Credits in most cases. Here are the merchants where you can buy this resource:

  • Jane’s Goods – Cydonia
  • Jemison Mercantile – New Atlantis

You can find more similar merchants while traveling, but these will always be at hand. If you reach the purchase limit, just go to a place where you can sleep, rest, and return to the merchant.

Starfield: How To Use Beryllium

In addition to its main purpose, which is building, Beryllium is also used in crafts. Here are the ones we found:

  • Electromagnetic Beams
  • Basic Boostpack
  • Power Boostpack
  • Skip Capacity Boostpack

You’ll find most of the crafts throughout the game, but for now, you can use ours to equip yourself with good gear. And if you are looking for more content, then be sure to check out our guide on how to get Heller’s Cutte in Starfield.
