Morphic Pool in Act 3 is where the climactic battle with the Netherbrain occurs and is an essential location for the story. If you’re struggling to find it, you’ve come to the right place, as it’s straightforward to reach if you know where to go. So, follow the directions below to find the Morphic Pool in BG3.
BG3: Finding the Morphic Pool
- Your journey starts at the Temple of Bhaal, which you can find in the Undercity Ruins at these coordinates: X: -56 Y: 1011.
- From there, follow a path northbound. Stick with the path and shortly after you should see an archway.
- Cross the archway, take a right turn up the stairs and you’ll see the Morphic Pool Dock with a docked boat.
- This is the boat that’ll take you to the Morphic Pool.

Preparations for The Netherbrain fight
As soon as you leave the boat, you will be confronted with the Netherbrain and thus, shortly after, the boss fight will begin. Keep in mind that you cannot return by using the boat or any other means. Once you’re in, there’s no way out. If you have side quests you’d like to do, places you want to visit, party members you need to level up, etc., do that before you enter the Morphic Pool, as the boat is a point of no return.
