There are not many quests that give players good rewards, but one of them appears at the beginning of the playthrough and can pleasantly surprise you. Starfield: The Secret Outpost Slate For the Mantis Mission
You can find the note in Nova Galactic Staryard where it drops randomly from enemies. But most likely you’ll find the slate during the Back to Vectera or The Old Neighborhood mission, right after one of the first enemies. As soon as you get the Secret Outpost slate, the Mantis mission will start, and the first objective will be to read it. Here’s what it will say:
Loyal to your crew, I get it. But screw that. Beg, borrow, steal, kill to get to Denebola l-b.
There is a Secret Outpost we’re trying to crack. Once in a lifetime opportunity!
You will regret it for the rest of your life if you don’t get your ass over here.

Also, sometimes Starfield has a bug where the Secret Outpost slate does not drop for some reason, and therefore it is impossible to start the Mantis mission. To avoid this, we recommend that you make a quick save before the Back to Vectera mission.
