In the New Fontaine area, at some point, you will get the quest, which will require you to go swimming and fix some stuff over there. So next, in this guide, we will tell you how to get Handwheel and fix the underwater pipelines near the Fortress of Meropide in Genshin Impact.
The most confusing part for us was figuring out where to get a Handwheel. After spending a few minutes wandering around, we managed to get it and fix all 4 pipelines. Opening the chest was a little bit confusing too, though. To save you from wasting your time, we've made this guide.
To get the missing Handwheel, you will need to dive a little bit deeper and look for a green glow on underwater plants. After this, you need to destroy it. This can be done with the power of the "flat" fish you have. Just aim at a green bubble surrounded by tendrils, and you will get one.

The first pipeline we fixed was the one you can see in the map above. We rotated it 2 times and it got fixed.
Next, we swam up to the pipeline you can see on the map above and rated it once to fix it.
Basically, this one is tricky. Here, you need to defeat Red Meanies you can see around in a short time. After you are done, you will get the Ousia Block. You will need it to activate the mechanism and charge the batteries around. After this, you will be able to open the cage and get the loot from the chest. Right near you, you will have to rotate 2 handwheels to fix 1 pipeline. Rotate the bottom one 3 times and the upper one 3 times.
Now, just swim to the last pipeline and rotate the bottom Handwheel 2 times and the upper Handwheel 1 time. That’s it, you are done with the quest!
