At first, we had no idea where to get this revolver. But at some point we got lucky and it dropped during a new random event that only occurs in the Dogtown area, which was added in the Phantom Liberty update. For you to know where to search for it, we have made this guide.
As we found out, Laika can only be obtained during Airdrop events held in Dogtown. You can visit them immediately after you complete the Lucretia My Reflection quest and can move around the open world.
You will know that the Airdrop event has started when you hear an airplane above you or see red smoke over the city. This means it's time to go to this area searching for rare loot.
When you arrive, you will need to deal with several opponents to get the reward crate. The crate can contain different weapons and gear, so the chance of getting Laika is not very high. You may need to open about a dozen airdrops to get the revolver, so if you really want it, you can create a save and reload until you get the weapon you need.

When you shoot the revolver at the enemy, it is affected by a unique burn. The enemy under the burn always receives Crit Damage. It increases for each enemy that is hit by the unique burn, but at the same time, the accuracy of shooting decreases. So, basically, it is a pretty decent buff, so we think it is a good gun, and you should definitely add it to your collection.
