Lies Of P, like most other games, contains tasks that can make you feel sad. One of them is the story of Toma, a boy who suffers from petrification disease and desperately wants to see his friend Murphy. In this guide, you will learn how to complete the Toma side quest in Lies of P.
Helping the boy will not take much time, but it will make him incredibly happy. Below, we will explain step by step how to complete this task.
To start the quest, you will need to complete all the dialogues with Toma, after which he will tell you about his friend Murphy, a policeman, and how much he wants to see him again, after which the quest will begin.
In order to get to the boy's location, you'll need to do the following:

To complete the quest, you won't need to look for any of Toma's friends. Your main goal will be to find the whistle that Murphy used to patrol the streets. To achieve this, you'll need to head to Krat City Hall, where you'll meet the boss, Scrapped Watchman.
First, you'll have to defeat this spider-like robot, and then pay attention to the location that surrounds you. The first thing that catches your eye is a white bench that stands out from the rest because it has candles and children's toys on it, and nearby, a little awkwardly written in white chalk, "Friends." Go to this bench and take the Faded Whistle, which is the key item in this mission.
The last thing you need to do to complete the quest is to go back to Toma. Instead of talking to him, open your Bag and go to the Collectible tab. Here, find the Faded Whistle and interact with it to blow it. This will make Toma react to the sound, thinking it's Murphy. He'll say how much he misses all his friends, and then take a few heavy breaths, probably his last ever breaths.
