Armory Unlocks challenges is a new system introduced in Modern Warfare 3. Unlike the traditional leveling system where items are unlocked as you progress through levels, Armory Unlocks challenges offer a different approach.
If you haven't reached level 25 yet, you may have noticed that certain items in your Loadout creation menu do not have an unlock level. Instead, it states that Armory Unlocks challenges are unlocked at level 25. Once you reach this level, you will gain access to these challenges, which will allow you to unlock certain weapons, modifications, perks, equipment, field upgrades, killstreaks, and cosmetics by completing daily tasks.
You will have access to 3 daily tasks per 24 hours, so you can easily earn three Armory Unlocks points every day. However, the good news is that you can earn more than 3 points because once you complete all 3 daily challenges, a bonus challenge will appear. This bonus challenge will always be to win a match, and every time you win a match, you will earn another point towards unlocking items in the Armory.
There seems to be no limit to the number of games you can win in a day to earn these points, so you can keep accumulating them. It's worth mentioning that the zombie mode also has its own set of daily challenges, which will also contribute towards unlocking items in the Armory.
Each item in the challenges requires a certain number of completed daily tasks, typically ranging from 2 to 8. The order in which you unlock these items is entirely up to you, and you even have the option to create a queue of challenges to prioritize your unlocks. Just remember to activate the challenges you want to work on, as they will automatically progress through the list if left inactive. To unlock everything except cosmetic items, you will need a total of 235 points. This means that you will have to complete plenty of daily challenges and win a considerable number of matches to acquire all the available gear for your loadout setup.
