A save editor for Remnant 2 apparently does not exist. However, there are suitable alternatives, which we present in this article.
Here's the deal: The demand for a save game editor for Remnant 2 may exist. After all, it is tempting to help yourself to heaps of scrap or trait points by means of bending a few bytes. Nevertheless, the search for such a tool has been fruitless so far, which shouldn't surprise connoisseurs. The prequel, Remnant: From the Ashes, has also left gamers wanting to cheat in the dust to this day.
That means, there are good alternatives to a save editor in both cases. One of them hardly differs in its function from a byte hacking tool, but it takes a bit longer until the respective save points are subjected to one's will. You'll find out exactly which software we're talking about and what other alternatives there are in the next paragraph.
Several tools and advanced save files can be used as workarounds. Especially helpful for manipulating Remnant 2 save files is the Cheat Engine in combination with a special cheat table. But also universal save editors come into question for Gunfire Games' RPG shooter, which are available in offline as well as online versions.
However, if you don't feel like thinking about tools for memory manipulation, you can simply use pre-made save games. The selection is currently still very small, but the available save games will save Remnant 2's up-and-coming heroes several hours of shooting and looting. In the following the details are presented.
Cheat Engine is a powerful tool for cheating in video games, because it offers plenty of options to do so. This software seems a bit cryptic at first glance, but in the end, nothing here is eaten as hot as it is cooked. This is also ensured by a useful tutorial that is fired automatically upon program start.
To manipulate saves with the Cheat Engine, it is not necessary to import save files. Instead, both the game you want to cheat in and the Cheat Engine are started. Then, in the main window of the cheating tool, display the running processes and select the game process there.
After that, you run a scan that detects potentially relevant locations (i.e. values that represent your current ammount of scrap) in memory. Advanced users can also fiddle around with the tool directly in the memory. In the case of Remnant 2, you can also use a special cheat table that contains useful scripts for Cheat Engine and saves you a lot of work.

Universal save editors basically allow you to do exactly what the name suggests: manipulate save games of any game. These tools make use of recurring code patterns and, in the best case, show memory locations that could be interesting for cheating.
Of course, there is still no guarantee that the respective editor will actually work with every game. Here simply the attempt makes wise. It might be a good idea to try out an online editor first, if you are not so quick with program installations.

As great as the first two approaches may be, it still costs you some time to learn the respective tool. That's why you might consider using a pre-made save game, because why cheat when you already have decent equipment and all worlds are unlocked?
The saves we've selected below aren't "100% saves", but one of them (MatrixHacker's) is best suited for fully completing Remnant 2. If you simply want to give your character top-of-the-line gear and enter most of the game's worlds directly, SensiDakara's save might be for you. Additionally, it might be worth your while to keep an eye on sites like Moddb and Nexusmods for new saves.
