Starfield: How to get Adhesive

Deutsch English

A rare but very important resource in Starfield is adhesive. You need it, for example, to produce weapon mods.

Here’s the deal: The universe of Starfield is huge. Over 100 planets invite you to discover and explore them. So it’s only logical that Bethesda’s new title also has numerous raw materials to find, including adhesive. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get it and whether you can make it yourself.

    2. Buy Adhesive from Vendors

Getting Adhesive in Starfield

The rare resource can be obtained in Starfield in three different ways, four if you want to count the cheat for adhesive.

Farming Adhesive

One way to get adhesive in Starfield is to fight brainsprouts. For each defeated brainsprout you get one unit of adhesive. To find the disgusting animals, it is best to fly to the Arcturus system on the planet Arcturus II.

Adhesive can also be dropped by other enemies or found in different containers.

An equally good chance to get adhesive is to harvest sweetwater cacti on the planet Gargarin in Alpha-Centauri.

Buy Adhesive from Vendors

If you don’t feel like fighting disgusting brain sprouts, you can just buy your adhesive. Be aware, however, that the supply of vendors change and it may well be that a vendor who sold adhesive once will not have any the next time. You have a good chance of getting adhesive from these vendors:

  • Amoli Bava-New Atlantis
  • UC Exchange-Cydonia
  • Jae Montreal-New Homestead
  • Jemison Mercantile-New Atlantis

If the merchant you trust doesn’t sell any adhesive, or you’ve bought it all up, you can simply wait three hours and the offer will be renewed automatically.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to produce adhesive yourself in Starfield. But sooner or later you will need it. With adhesive, you can produce mods for suits and weapons, among other things. You also require glue to craft items for your outposts, such as a weapon workbench.

If you want to get glue with the help of the provided cheat, you can do that with the cheat code player.additem 000055B1 20 (for 20 units of adhesive).
