The game will often put you in front of a choice, and often, your decision will lead you to a certain result and provide you with useful rewards. Such a decision awaits you in the Unearthed mission, where the choice will be between taking the Emissary or Hunter side. In this guide, you will learn how to get Unmitigated Violence and Eternity’s Gate legendary weapons in Starfield.
Both weapons have unique effects and will significantly increase your effectiveness in combat. Below you will find instructions on how to get each of them.
Starfield: How To Get Unmitigated Violence
Well, as we mentioned above, when you get almost to the end of the Unearthed mission, you’ll have to choose which side to take. After a dialog, you’ll be able to choose between the Emissary and the Hunter. To get Unmitigated Violence, you need to cooperate with the Emissary by choosing the following dialog option:
“The Emissary is right. The Artifacts need to be in the right hands“
After that, you can end the dialogue by choosing another option to support the Emissary. This way, you will have to fight the Hunter to the death. After the opponent is killed, you will be able to loot his corpse and among many other items, there will be the long-awaited Unmitigated Violence.
Starfield: How To Get Eternity’s Gate
As you can imagine, to get Eternity’s Gate, you’ll have to do the opposite. Now, after listening to both sides, you need to choose the Hunter side by selecting this dialog option:
“The Hunter is right. The only real rule is who gets all the Artifacts first“
The events will develop in the reverse way and now the Emissary will point its weapon at you to try to kill you. Don’t worry, it’s not hard to defeat her, and after you kill her, loot her corpse to get Eternity’s Gate.

Starfield: How To Get Both Unmitigated Violence and Eternity’s Gate
If you want to get both weapons, the game provides this option as well. Instead of supporting one side, you can refuse to do so by choosing the following dialog option:
“You’re both wrong. It’s time someone other than a Starborn made a decision“
Thus, you will face a much more difficult battle, as you will now have to fight both Emissary and Hunter. After the fight is over, you can loot their corpses to get each of these weapons.
