Here’s the deal: Just like in any other Bethesda RPG, you can also wait in Starfield to skip time. However, it’s not as simple as pressing a button, which is why many players struggle with it. But we’re here to tell you how you can easily wait in the RPG.
How to Wait & Skip Time in Starfield
Some missions require you to complete them during the day or at night. Sometimes, you also just have to wait a few hours or days for a mission to proceed. To avoid spending hours in the game, there’s a “Wait” function to directly skip time, and it’s pretty straightforward to use.
How to do it: Simply find a chair, couch, or bed to sit or lie down on. Once you interact with it, your character will sit or lie down, and you’ll get the option to wait for 1-24 hours using the B-button.
So, you see, it’s not that hard to skip time in Starfield. On the various planets, in the cities, and even on spaceships, you’ll find plenty of seating options to wait.
