While playing through the Failure To Communicate quest in Starfield, namely the final stages of it, you will come across some locked safes on the Retrofitted Starstation. For you to open it, you need to know the safe key location in the Failure To Communicate quest in Starfield.
You need to open these safes with a key to progress the quest. But where is the key located? Look no further as we’ll give you directions to find the safe key. All you’ll have to do is kill a bunch of enemies and you’ll have it.
Starfield: Finding the Safe Key in Failure To Communicate
Keep in mind that you will encounter some spacers while doing this. Killing them shouldn’t be a problem. Here are the directions to the key, starting from the safes:
- After seeing the safes, turn around, walk out of the room with the safes and take a left turn up the stairs.
- In front of you, you will see a staircase with one set of stairs going up and one down. Go up the stairs.
- Next, walk into the first room on the left, right next to the stairs.
- On the table in the middle of the room, you should see the key along with a “Grunt Issue 08” magazine which will permanently boost your damage upon using it.
