To get to the Forest of Koroks, you have to enter the Lost Woods in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, it's not that easy!
Here's the deal: The quest for the Master Sword will probably lead you to the Lost Woods sooner rather than later. These surround the Forest of Koroks, where you must complete the required quest. However, you can't enter the Lost Woods on the normal path. In this guide, we'll show you how to get to the Forest of Koroks in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
If you don’t know exactly where to start looking, check out our interactive map or the guide to the locations of all shrines. If you are looking for a specific shrine, you can easily find it, as well as other helpful guides, in our sorted guide overview. |
If you follow the path marked on the map and run into the Lost Woods on it, you'll be automatically teleported back to the edge of the forest after a short while. The mysterious fog prevents you from going further into the grove and entering the Koroks' forest.
So you have to take another, indirect way, and that is through the Dephts. Walk back a bit on the road that leads into the Lost Woods until you come to a large pit (see screenshot). This huge hole is the Minshi Woods Chasm. Drop into it and intercept your fall just before landing with the glider.
Once you've reached the bottom, you'll see one of the numerous light roots of the underground in the far distance to your left. This root is your destination. Follow the poes on the ground and you will automatically reach the root.
Nevertheless, you should definitely have several glow seeds with you to light your way. Also, be careful on the way, because there are a lot of enemies waiting for you, including gloom hands.
When you reach the waypoint, stand right in the middle and use ascend to get back to the surface through the root. Et Voilá, you'll find yourself in the forest of Koroks.
