In certain locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will run into the creepy Gloom Hands and Phantom Ganon. Especially at the beginning of your journey, it's better to avoid these encounters.
Here's the deal: The red Gloom Hands are probably one of the most visually terrifying enemies in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Once you have defeated them, Phantom Ganon appears and wants to get at your heart. In this guide, we'll show you what equipment you need for this fight and how you can defeat these powerful enemies.

By far the easiest way to quickly kill the Gloom Hands is with bomb arrows. Just wait until the hands are halfway close together and fire a bomb arrow right into their center. The huge explosion will hit all the hands at once and do a lot of damage. Two or three well-aimed hits and the Gloom Hands are history. So make sure you always have a certain number of thunderbolts in your luggage.
Note: It is important that you hit the hands at the same time. If you destroy only single hands and take too long for the rest, the already defeated hands will respawn, and the battle will start all over again.
Once you have defeated all the Gloom Hands, phase two of the battle begins and Phantom Ganon appears. The hands only represent the first phase of the boss fight. If you get too far away from Phantom Ganon, he will switch from his melee weapon to a bow and send arrows after you.
Ganon's attack patterns are limited, so with a little practice, you'll be able to dodge them quickly. It's best not to go too rashly at the beginning, but wait for a known attack move to counter afterward. Depending on where you fight, you can also defeat Phantom Ganon with arrows in no time.
If you jump from an elevated position and aim with your bow, everything around you will slow down. You then easily have time to fire 4 or even 5 arrows. So with a little aiming water, you can land up to five head hits. That should finish the fight.
