Fear The Walking Dead is gearing up for its ultimate finale with Season 8b, and there's now a trailer that confirms a popular fan theory and brings back one of the best antagonists, Troy Otto.
What's It About? Fear The Walking Dead returns in October to conclude the final 8th season of the zombie spin-off. We follow Madison and the P.A.D.R.E. group as they try to build a new world. However, an old acquaintance crosses paths with Madison, and he's out for brutal revenge!

In the Season 8b trailer, we see that Troy is returning. "Who is Troy again?" is a question nobody is likely to ask because he was one of the best antagonists in The Walking Dead universe. Nevertheless, here's a recap!
In Season 3, our heroes stumbled upon what seemed to be a military outpost in Mexico. Troy and his brother Jake resided there. While Jake was introduced as a sensible survivor, Troy was a psychopath through and through. Power mom Madison quickly realizes this and wants to protect her children and friends from the monster that is Troy Otto. Despite Troy getting close to Madison and trying to build a bond slowly, she deals a hammer blow to the psycho with mommy issues.
Troy rolls down a small hill and appears to meet his end in the explosion of a dam. But Madison taught us, "No one's gone, until they're gone." In the trailer, we see that Troy Otto has been pursuing Madison for years. Along the way, he collected relics of Madison's friends and family, including Alicia's arm. What Troy Otto knows about Alycia, we'll only find out when Season 8b of Fear The Walking Dead kicks off. The return of Alycia seems very unlikely, though, as actress Alicia Debnam-Carey left the series voluntarily.
Fear's finale launches on October 22, 2023. Unlike the two latest spin-offs, "Dead City" and "Daryl Dixon," Fear The Walking Dead is expected to premiere simultaneously in the USA and Germany on AMC+ and Amazon Prime, respectively.
