In the new spin-off The Walking Dead: Dead City, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) travel to post-apocalyptic Manhattan, which has long since been cut off from the mainland. The decayed city, of course, is filled to the brim with the undead and anarchic inhabitants who have made New York a place of danger. Cast member Cohan and fellow cast member Gaius Charles (Perlie Armstrong) will join showrunner and series creator Eli Jorné to discuss Dead City during the panel.
The hour-long panel on Dead City will be followed by its counterpart on Fear the Walking Dead. In the series, which has already been running for seven seasons, Morgan's (Lennie James) and Madison's (Kim Dickens) efforts to save Mo from PADRE are not successful.
Morgan, Madison, and also everyone else who followed the main characters to the island thus live under PADRE's rule. All hopes of reviving faith in a better world now lie with the very person Morgan and Madison actually wanted to save: Morgan's daughter Mo.
The eighth and final season of Fear the Walking Dead is scheduled to debut on AMC and AMC+ on May 14, 2023. The series launch of The Walking Dead: Dead City, on the other hand, has not yet been precisely scheduled, with a vague "June" date remaining for the time being. The new TWD spin-off will also be shown on AMC and AMC+.
