The Russian FPS MMO Pioner was recently announced as a surprise. First impressions suggest a mixture of Escape from Tarkov, DayZ, and Stalker. We have a few details for you!

That's going on: As our sister site Guided reports, the Russian development studio GFA Games Pioner announced it out of nowhere. On the basis of the first trailer, we can already see similarities to Escape from Tarkov and Stalker, but also a certain DayZ feeling cannot be denied.

More Information

As in EFT or DayZ, in Pioner you fight against the environment, but also against other players. The game world is a technological apocalypse on a Russian island that also puts supernatural beings in front of you.

The dark and apocalyptic art style is mainly reminiscent of the Stalker series.

This is what awaits you in Pioner: The developers themselves have not yet revealed too much about Pioner, but have already presented key features. Exploring the game world should play a major role, in which you can also complete the main story and support four factions.

In the endgame, you can enter a large PvPvE zone that works similarly to the dark zones in The Division. In raids, you can put your skills to the test with friends and get better loot.

Speaking of loot: If you find better attachments for your weapon in the game, you can use them immediately. It is possible for you in every situation to adapt your weapon as you wish and depending on the situation. So you always have the right weapon at hand, provided you have the parts.
