During EA Play on July 22, 2021, a “One Last Thing” moment heralded the return of one of the most popular horror series, Dead Space.
It’s back: The rumors of a possible Dead Space have been growing in the last few months. Rumors have spoken of a remake, others of a reboot. Today during EA Play 2021 there were many announcements about Battlefield and one about Dead Space.
This is shown by the trailer for the new Dead Space
The developers of EA Motive don’t reveal too much about their upcoming Dead Space game. Only a short trailer with creepy music brought us closer to the setting and the Isaac:
- At the beginning of the trailer, the camera pans through an orange-lit corridor. We don’t believe that this space station is really deserted.
- Then we hear some screams from an invisible loudspeaker.
- A creepy version of a nursery rhyme sets in, and we see a necromorph at the end of the long corridor.
- At the end of the trailer, we get another shot of Isaac charging his armor and appearing to be badly wounded.
- The word “Dead Space” appears in front of a planet – without any additional information.
Release & Bundle: Since the new Dead Space has no additional name, the rumors of a remake seem to be true. The developers do not give a release date during the live show. Dead Space will release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, and the PC. It remains to be seen whether it will be included in the EA Play subscription at launch.
