Over 50 streamers play Rust together on the OfflineTV-Server and thus cause many conflicts. Now developer Facepunch wants to provide "special features".

This is what happened: Currently, you can't avoid the topic of the OfflineTV-Server if you are active in the Rust Community. Over 50 streamers play together on one server and various conflicts cause dramas. Streamer Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek has now confirmed that the OfflineTV-Server will receive special features from developer Facepunch.

After the conflicts were making waves and there were already death threats, the biggest streamer Imane "Pokimane" Anys said goodbye to the server for the time being, until a less PvP-oriented server is opened.

A new server was recently announced by Abe "BaboAbe" Chung, which will go online on January 7th and will focus on RP and PvE.

RP-Server is to be equipped with special features by Facepunch

That's happened now: As the streamer and shooter legend Shroud announces in a stream, the OfflineTV team is working with the developers Facepunch:

"I don’t want to spoil any of the new elements they will have, but they’re working very closely with Facepunch. Facepunch is doing something very special and unique for them, so the new server is gonna be really really cool.”

The new server should not only focus on roleplay and PvE, but also offer individual PvP. The server will go online on January 7th, until then we will have to wait for the planned feature reveals.

It is not yet known whether the planned features will ultimately also be put online for other server operators. However, since developer Facepunch is involved, the chance for it is at least there.
