Star Wars Hunters is the first PvP mobile game from the galaxy far far away. In an earnings call from publisher Take Two, those responsible have now announced a release date.
Star Wars: Hunters will be released between late 2023 and early 2024. In Take Two's earnings call, the executives talked about the fact that they expect significant growth for the fiscal year 2024 and one of the reasons is the cooperation with developer Zynga. Games were also listed here, and it was announced when some of them would be released. Star Wars Hunters was promised to be released for quote, "Later fiscal year 2024." The last quarter of this fiscal year ends in March 2024.
What is a fiscal? For Take Two Interactive, the fiscal year 2024 already started in Q2 (April 2023) (via businesswire.com). So late Fiscal Year 2024 could mean early 2024.
Important Update: As some members of reddit have informed us, the publisher seems to have talked about "Later Fiscal Year 2024", not "Late Fiscal Year 2024". If this is true, a release could already take place at the end of 2023. We can confirm this now and updated the article accordingly.
Update #2: We can confirm that the earnings call stated: "later this fiscal year 2024". We are very sorry to cause this amount of trouble for you, and your expectations. These are not our standards at Guided. We are truly sorry and acknowledge we made mistake. We certainly will triple-check all information in the future. Our thanks go to the Reddit user Azzatru (via reddit.com), who was the first to find this mistake!
Star Wars: Hunters is a video game developed by developer Zynga under Take Two Interactive. The game was first announced in February 2021, but the actual release of Star Wars Hunters was quickly delayed. In Hunters, gamers play 4-on-4, choosing heroes or villains, all of whom have different abilities. They then fight for supremacy in the arena.
