A few hours ago the first screenshots of the new Outlast game "The Outlast Trials" were published. We'll take a closer look today.

Finally, material: fans have long been waiting for a new sign of life from Outlast developer Red Barrel. Now the time has come, and we can jump on three new screenshots straight from the levels of the co-op horror game.

Here is our latest news!

The Outlast Trials screenshots are reminiscent of COD Cold War

What is trials? If you don't know yet, you should read carefully! The Outlast Trials is a collaborative experience in the Outlast universe. In the middle of the Cold War, scientists experiment on people. The events are loosely based on the real "MK Ultra" project, in which US scientists wanted to control the thoughts of test subjects.

This is shown by the screenshots: On the first of the pictures for The Outlast Trials that have now been published, we can see a wrong city. It seems to have been set up in a large film studio. In addition to tin carts on rails and a supermarket, we can see lights on the ceiling.

While the first two pictures look a lot like the one level from Call of Duty: Cold War, the last one is mainly reminiscent of the very first part of the Outlast series.

For now, that is all we know about The Outlast Trials so far. The game is expected to be released in 2021. Right now, it is not known whether there will be delays due to the ongoing corona pandemic or not. If you want to stay up-to-date consider activating the push notifications!
