What is Namalsk? If you’ve never heard of the great Namalsk mod that comes straight from the Bohemia Interactive Studio, here’s a little summary:
DayZ Namalsk is a free PC modification that takes you to the eponymous archipelago in the Bering Sea. It’s not only damn cold here, but above all beautiful and yet extremely dangerous.
The relentless weather makes survival near the Arctic Circle extremely difficult. But it’s made much harder by the electromagnetic storms that sweep across the islands. However, in the end, there is something for every type of player:
- Purists – get their time’s worth with the simplicity of the mod, which focuses on survival.
- Survivalists – are allowed to plunge into the sparse resources and weapons on the hardcore servers in the best rogue-like manner. Only the strongest survives.
- Story enthusiasts – can go in search of the truth. Where do the zombies come from? What about the storms, and who is behind the mysterious underground facilities? You can find out all of that – and these are what this is all about today.
