The new role-playing game hit from Larian Studios is being praised to the skies by fans and critics alike. In addition to exciting combat and a brilliant storyline, Baldur's Gate 3 lets you recruit numerous NPCs, including the paladin Minthara.
What it's about: In the world of Baldur's Gate 3 you'll encounter a variety of different NPCs, some of which you can recruit so that they join your party and strengthen your team. One of these NPCs is the Paladin Minthara. In this guide, we will show you where to find Minthara and how to recruit her.
The paladin Minthara can be found early in the game. While you are fighting your way through Act 1, you can find her in the "Shattered Sanctum" in the Goblin Camp. The important thing is to convince the goblins that you are a friend. Then sooner or later they will send you directly to Minthara. After your first encounter, you'll have to decide whether you want to support her in her planned attack on the Emerald Grove. The alternative is to stand in her way and fight her.
Minthara has the following attributes:
Initially, the Machiavellian Drow's strengths lie in Athletics, Healing, Persuasion, Discerning Motive, Religion, and Intimidation.
During the first conversation with Minthara, you tell her where to find the Emerald Grove. This will start the quest to fight against the Druide Grove. After that, you have to go to the Grove. Once you get there, it's up to you to decide which side you want to fight on. However, if your goal is to get Minthara on your team, you'll have to take her side and fight with her against Emerald Grove.
Once this battle is won, it will, unfortunately, take some time before you can recruit the Paladin. In Act 2, you will meet Minthara again in the Moonrise Towers, where she is being tortured. If you help her again here and free her from prison, you can recruit her as a companion.
Important: You cannot save Halsin or the Tieflings in the Emerald Grove, because Dror Ragzlin must not be killed. Otherwise, you will be attacked by the goblins and you will lose the possibility to recruit Minthara. Also, keep in mind: Minthara is one of the evil NPCs and some of your companions will have a problem with her and won't stay in your party anymore.
