Colt Swanson from Dead Island 2 is the owner of the estate at 70 Alpine Drive, Bel-Air. He's carrying the Swan Manson Key, which you'll need in the quest "Desperately Seeking Emma"; we'll tell you exactly where Colt Swanson is hiding his rotten butt.
Colt Swanson is in the panic room: In the early game of Dead Island 2, you'll receive the quest "Desperately Seeking Emma", which will take you to the mansion at 70 Alpine Drive, Bel-Air. To complete the quest, you'll have to break into the house and take the former owner's keys. Simple enough, isn't it?
Well, no, there are two little problems. Firstly, the ex-owner, Colt Swanson, is now just a decomposing "walker". And for another, said unlucky guy is stuck in the rock-solid locked panic room of his house. What to do now? In any case, buckle up before you read on, because the solution to this whole thing is simple. Very simple.

To start with, yes, it happened to us too. We stood outside Colt Swanson's panic room, which is opened using the magnetic lock to the left of the door, a shimmering bluish glass box. And we stood there pondering. We stood there with a sledgehammer in our hands, next to the GLASS box and pondered. Well, do you notice it yet?
That's right, just smash the lock with any weapon. That's it. The panic room will open and you can take the key from Colt Swanson (or what's left of him). Yes, it does hurt a bit. But in the end this supposed brain failure speaks for us, because we know that destruction is rather rarely the solution. During the quest "Desperately Seeking Emma" it is for once.
