Disney Dreamlight Valley: Belle’s “Into the West Wing” Quest

In this Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide, we will show you how to start Belle’s “Into the West Wing” quest and how to solve it successfully.

What this quest is about: Belle fought with the Beast and wants to know how he is doing, which is why you offer her that you talk to the Beast. To be able to talk to the beast, you must disguise yourself because he doesn’t like strangers. You also have to find the secret passage to the West Wing to reach the Beast, who has locked himself in.

Unlock the “The Beauty and the Beast” Realm and Find Belle

To unlock the realm of “The Beauty and the Beast”, you need to go to the Dream Castle, where you can find the entrance to the world in the middle of the third floor. Stand in front of the middle door, which will show you that unlocking this realm will cost 12000 Dreamlight. By pressing the action key, on the PC it is “E”, Merlin will appear, who, after spending the 12000 Dreamlight, will open the door for you. Go to the realm of “Beauty and the Beast” to start Belle’s quest.

How to Find Belle

Your first quest task is to explore the realm of “The Beauty and the Beast”. If you want to find the chest first, run up the first staircase on the right and follow the corridor, at which end you will find the chest. Then run back and follow the path until you are in front of an enchanted book that you have to follow. The book will take you to Belle in the library, where she is surrounded by flying books. Talk to her to find out what your next tasks are.

Help Belle to Capture the Books

Belle asks you to help her capture the books and promises to tell you everything afterward. To catch the books, you have to approach them and press the action button as soon as you see the command on a book near you.

After you have caught all the books, give them to Belle, who will tell you that she fought with the Beast because she went to the West Wing to look at something. After the quarrel, she went to the library and the Beast locked himself in the West Wing. The only way to get there is a secret passage, which you have to find now.

Find the Secret Passage to the West Wing

For the secret passage to open, you need to repair the roller ladder to the bookshelf in the corner, for which you need to find four boards and two wheels scattered around the room.

• One board can be found on the table located to your right. The board is highlighted with glitter lights.
• Another board you’ll find next to the pile of wood located to the left of the fireplace.
• Behind the sofa, which is in front of the fireplace, you will find the third board.
• Next to the table, which is to the right of the rolling ladder, you will find a wheel and the last board.
• You will find a wheel on the table opposite the table where you found the first board.

Once you have found all the boards and wheels, interact with the roller ladder and drag them into its inventory, whereupon the ladder will move, and the secret passage will be opened. Then talk to Belle again.

Disguise Yourself to Talk to the Beast

Belle tells you that the Beast can’t stand strangers, so it’s safer for you to dress up as one of the employees. For her to sew you a costume, you will need the following items, which you will have to find in the castle:

• 4x Castle Candles
• 1x Castle Candle Holder
• 1x Golden Curtain

All Items in the Library:

• You can find the first castle candle on the first barrel, at the entrance of the secret passage.
• The second castle candle can be found on the table to the left of the fireplace.
• You can find the golden curtain directly on the table where you found the first wheel before.

All Items in the Castle

You can find the third castle candle in the garden of the castle. Walk out of the library and then into the first corridor on the right. After going down the stairs to the garden, go left, where you will find a garden table with the third candle on it.

Go back into the castle and choose the right corridor. Follow it to the end, where you will find the castle candle holder on a chair.

The fourth castle candle is on the table next to the piano, which is in the entrance area of this realm.

Talk to the Beast

Take the gathered items to Belle, so she can make your costume. Put the outfit on to be able to speak with the Beast. Then go through the secret passage and talk to him. He will tell you that it bothered him that Belle was looking at the painting that still shows his human form.

After a short conversation with Belle, your task is to talk to Merlin, who will help you and Belle to make a painting that shows the Beast in his current form.

Make the Enchanted Canvas

From Merlin, you’ll learn how to craft the magic canvas, which will paint itself with a beautiful memory. You will need the following items to make it:

• 12x Softwood
• 8x Fibers
• 4x Dream Shard
• 3x White Daisy
• 2x Garnet

Once you have all the materials together, you can craft the canvas on a workbench. Take the canvas to Belle and help her find a nice memory so that the painting will paint itself. After a final conversation with Belle, you have successfully completed the quest.
