Disney Dreamlight Valley: Elsa's quest "Breaking the Ice"

In this Disney Dreamlight Valley quest guide, we'll explain how to successfully complete Elsa's quest "Breaking the Ice" and secure the upgrade for your pickaxe.

The quest of the popular princess Elsa from "The Ice Queen - Completely Unforgiven" is the first of this character in the game. You can start the quest directly with Elsa as soon as you have brought her to your village. Just talk to the princess and the quest "Breaking the Ice" will start.

Elsa's quest "Breaking the ice" in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After talking to Elsa, you have to follow her to the ice cave. Talk to her there again. She will ask you to collect five different items that you can then use to make the Heat Potion of Summer. These five items are:

• 1x vial of ocean water
  You can pick up the vial of ocean water in the shallow water on the Dazzle Beach.

• 5x Sunflower
  The yellow sunflowers also grow on the Dazzle Beach and can be easily collected there.
• 5x Lemon
  For the lemons, you can head to either the Forest of Valor or the Glades of Trust. The sour fruits grow in both areas.
• 2x Sugar Cane
  For the sugar cane you have to go back to the Dazzle Beach. Here you can buy the cane or the sugar cane seeds at Goofy's stall.
• 3x Garlic
  You can get the pungent bulbs again in the Forest of Valor. Look carefully for the green plants, as they don't stand out very well against the green grass.

Complete Elsa's Quest

Once you have the five items together, you can use them to make the Heat Potion of Summer at your workbench. You'll then need to take the concoction to Elsa, who will then clear the way into the ice cave and upgrade your pickaxe.

With this upgrade for your pickaxe, you'll be able to destroy the chunks of ice blocking your path. To complete the quest "Breaking the Ice" you have to go deeper into the ice cave until you find a blue crest on the ground. Insert it into the glowing stand on the wall and you will have successfully completed Elsa's quest.
