In the Disney Dreamlight Valley expansion “A Rift in Time”, you can feed monkeys and gain them as companions. This guide shows you how to do this.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, two to three different versions of an animal species appear at different times each day. However, the funny monkeys only appear on the Eternity Isle. They are therefore only accessible to owners of the “A Rift in Time” expansion.
Monkeys are only available for owners of the “A Rift in Time” expansion.
There are a total of five different monkeys, each of which is active at different times and can be fed.

You can only feed each animal during its active times. You should therefore always offer the respective animal its favorite food so that you can win it as a companion as quickly as possible. If you want to have a monkey as a friend, you usually have to run after it two or three times. The monkey will then eventually stop so that you can slowly approach it.
When you are close enough, you have to press the button that appears to offer the monkey the selected food. Fortunately, all five types of monkeys like the same food. Banana split is the primates' absolute favorite food.

Once you have successfully fed the monkey a few times, you can select it as a companion. To do this, open your wardrobe and switch to the companion menu. Here you can then select the monkey, who will be at your side as a companion from now on and will walk with you through the game world.
