Since the fifth major update, which was released on June 05 this year, you can find the green potato in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Also, the mystery of the enigmatic potato potions has finally been solved.
Here's the deal: Since the launch of Disney Dreamlight Valley, new potatoes have been added to the game again and again. By now, you can find a total of six different tubers in different colors:
With every single potato, you can make a certain potion. When you have all six potions together, you will be able to brew the Rainbow Potion, which will help you unlock a legendary companion, the Rainbow Fox. In this guide, we'll show you how to get the green potato and make the potion that goes with it.

The green potato is quite difficult to get. You have to collect the little emerald bottles that you can find all over the Valley.
Each bottle is hidden in a body of water, so you'll have to use your fishing rod every time. We'll show you where to find the bottles:

After you've collected all 16 emerald bottles, you'll need to open them all individually in your inventory. Each bottle will yield one emerald shard. So in the end you should have 16 shards. With this, you'll go to your workbench in the next step, where you can now craft the jade crystal.
Next, you need to travel to the Vytalis Mine and find the secret room. This will only unlock once you have completed the quest "Seed of Memories" from Simba. In this room, you'll find a table on which you'll find a green orb that you can interact with. Do this and you will receive green seeds. Now you have to plant these seeds in any place inside the forgotten lands. Now you either have to wait for two hours or you help with a growth elixir. Either way, you end up with the green potato.
With the green potato and the jade crystal, go back to your workbench. There you can now make the Crystalline Green Potion.
