What do you get out of cooking in Dreamlight Valley? Villagers often request a dish as one of their three special gift wishes, significantly boosting the friendship level. In addition, by cooking for the villagers in Remy’s restaurant, you will easily level up your friendship. On top of that, you can sell the dishes to Goofy’s stores for coins, which you can use to improve the village.
You can also complete your Dreamlight quests by cooking various star dishes along the way, which earns you Dreamlight.
To prepare apple cider-glazed salmon once, you will need the following ingredients:
Salmon: You can fish for salmon on the Sunlit Plateau or in the Frosted Hights. If you have several salmon, you can sell them for 150 coins or eat them for +500 energy.
Sugar Cane: You can purchase sugar canes or sugar cane seeds at Goofy's stand on the beach. Sugar cane seeds take 7 minutes to grow before you can harvest them. You can sell the harvested sugar canes for 19 coins, or eat them, which gives you +46 energy.
Apple: You can easily pick apples from the apple trees in the main square or in the Forgotten Land. For one apple, you get 25 coins if you sell it or + 300 energy if you eat it.
After you have prepared the apple cider glazed salmon, you can sell it for 271 coins at Goofy's stalls, or you can eat it to get + 1572 energy.
