In Disney Dreamlight Valley, every Villager has their own special quests for you, which you unlock as you level your friendship up. Our Guide will tell you how you successfully complete Mother Gothel's quest “My Kingdom for a Scroll”.
This is the quest: Mother Gothel wants a scroll from Scrooge McDuck, which he has hidden somewhere in Dreamlight Valley. She wants you to help her to get the scroll.
Your first task is to collect all the materials that you need to build a microphone berry tree, which will consequently allow you to spy on Scrooge McDuck and learn where he hid the chest, in which the scroll is.
These are the materials you need to collect:
After you have collected all the materials, you can craft the microphone berry tree on a workbench. Now place the tree near, or next to, Scrooge McDuck's store.
After a short conversation with Goofy, he will go to Scrooge and ask him about the chest and the key, while you listen together with Mother Gothel. By listening to the conversation, you will learn where to find the chest and the key.
Chest with the scroll: You will find the chest with the scroll on the Dazzling Beach, buried in the sand, in front of the mystic cave, which you already know from Ursula's quest “With Great Power”.
Key to the Chest: You have to fish the key out of the water in the Glade of trust, near the waterfall. The fishing spot is marked with an orange circle.
After receiving both, you finally have to talk to Mother Gothel one last time to complete the quest successfully.
