In their patch notes, Disney Dreamlight Valley announced that Kristoff's stall would expand to include some valuable materials, such as iron ingots. But how to do that is not immediately clear. We'll show you how to develop Kristoff's shop to buy useful items.
Here's the deal: With the Toy Story update in December, you should be able to buy iron ingots in Kristoff's stall, which are otherwise annoying to farm. Then in the game the disillusionment: the shop is still “empty”. We will now show you how you can change this so that you will soon no longer need 100 years to produce iron bars.
To expand Kristoff's shop, it is important to complete his last quest. But you will unlock it only when you raise your friendship level with him to the current maximum level of 10.
“A Broken Sleigh” is Kristoff's final quest, which you unlock by bringing the friendship level to level 10 and then talking to Kristoff.
Kristoff will then take you to his sled in the Frosted Heights, where you will use your pickaxe to free it from the ice. After that, you have to get a book from Kristoff's house in the Forest of Valor that describes how to repair the sled.
Now you need to gather the following materials to repair the sled:
After you have gathered all the materials, you can repair Kristoff's sled on a workbench. After repairing it, give the sled to Kristoff, which will give you the next task.
You now need to make the following material samples on a workbench:
Hand the material samples to Kristoff, and he will offer them in his store from now on, but gold ingots are also available. Finally, Kristoff will hand over his sled to you, as he doesn't need it anymore, and you have completed the quest.
Once you've expanded Kristoff's shop, you'll have a wider selection of items to choose from. You can now buy not only iron ingots, which you would otherwise have to farm, but also other rare items. So expanding Kristoff's store is a good idea to save you a lot of time in the future – provided you have enough coins to afford his inventory.
