In the late game of Enshrouded, you will need to get nitrate. This guide will show you how to get it and why you need this resource.

In this guide, you will learn:

• To craft nitrate, you require a laboratory.
• You need to complete all the Alchemist's quests to get the laboratory.

How to Get the Laboratory and Craft Nitrate in Enshrouded

The alchemist's last quest is called “Scientific Instruments for a Laboratory”. Go to the quest menu using the J button and select the quest as the active quest using the space bar. This will automatically take you to the location where you found the scientific instruments. Once you have collected them, you can place the instruments in your base and build a laboratory.

In the laboratory, you can craft nitrate.

At this last alchemist's production workshop, you can produce nitrate, among other things. However, various resources are required for 5x nitrate:

• 5x Sand (can be mined anywhere in the desert with your pickaxe)
• 5x Salt
• 1x Wood Acid (can be produced in the Charcoal Kiln with 15x logs and 3x soil)
• 1x Alchemical Base (can be produced at the Alchemy Station with 1x Shroud Liquid, 1x Mycelium, 1x Water and 1x Shroud Spores)

Nitrate is a very useful material to improve your agriculture.

This is why you need Nitrate in Enshrouded

You require the valuable nitrate for various things in Enshrouded. For example, you can use it to grow seedlings in the farmer's seedbed, including aloe seedlings. You need the following resources for 5x aloe seedlings:

• 1x Nitrate
• 1x Sand
• 1x Aloe
• 1x Water

In addition to this peaceful use, you can also use Nitrate to craft powerful spells such as the Shroud Meteor.
