In this Hogwarts Legacy guide, we’ll show you how to successfully master the Halls of Herodiana and how to get to the hidden chests of this puzzle.
How to get the quest: Complete the challenges to learn Depulso. After that, you can meet your classmate Sophronia in the Astronomy Tower to get the quest “The Halls of Herodiana” from her. Then follow the map to a wall on which is a golden square, which you activate with Depulso. This will open the door that will take you to the halls. Run through the hallway to the first room and enter it.
Note: We will describe how to get to the next hall first, and then how to open the hidden chest.
The Halls of Herodiana – Hall 1
You can quickly solve the first room by applying Depulso to the double crate, which will be pushed to the opposite wall. Now you can open the chest of this hall and advance to the next one. If you still want to find the hidden chest, use the normal spell on the golden cube that hangs in two creoles from the ceiling on the left side. This will reset everything to the initial position.
Get to the Hidden Chest
If you use Revelio, you will see a chest on a ledge on the left side. To get to it, run around the box once and use Depulso.
Then run to the opposite side of the ledge where the chest is located and apply Depulso here as well so that the double crate moves to the ledge. Now you can climb the ledge.
The Halls of Herodiana – Hall 2
Push the floating crate on the left side with Depulso to the wall opposite. Then pull the double crate with Accio to the side of the floating crate – but don’t stand in front of the crate, otherwise, it will run you over and flatten you.
Push the double crate with Depulso also to the wall and at the same time under the floating crate. Then pull both of them with Accio to the opposite side, which allows you to climb into the space in between and open the crate of the hall before you go further into the third hall.
Hidden Chest Hall 2
The hidden chest of this hall is located on the platform above the path through which you enter this hall. Reset all the chests to their original locations.
Floating Single Box: Now use Depulso to push the floating crate on the left wall forward against the two protruding solid blocks. Then use Accio to move it to the opposite wall. Now use Depulso once more and then Accio to make the crate land next to the two fixed blocks. With Accio, you can then move it directly in front of the platform with the hidden chest.

Double crate: Use Accio to get the crate out from between the solid blocks. Push it into the corner with Depulso, pull it to the opposite side with Accio, and move it under the fixed blocks with Depulso. With Accio, you can position the double crate so that you can get over it to the floating crate and from there to the chest.
The Halls of Herodiana – Hall 3
Walk along the right path until you stand in front of the double crate. Then use Accio to get the crate against the wall and Depulso to push it forward. Then climb onto the solid blocks on the other side and use Accio again to build a bridge with the crates. Walk across the bridge, and you can jump from the fixed blocks to the higher fixed blocks, which allows you to finish this hall as well. Collect the last crate in the space in between, and then bring the robe to Sophronia.
Chest in Hall 3
Stand behind the double chest and use Depulso to catapult it forward. Change your position to the one on the fixed blocks, as in the pictures. Push the crate to the wall with Depulso and pull it to the fixed block with the reset cube with Accio. Then pull the crate forward with Accio and backward one more time with Accio. With Depulso you can now place it directly in front of the ledge with the chest.
Your Reward in Hogwarts Legacy
As a reward for this quest, you will receive Herodiana’s outfit ensemble, consisting of a Hat, Robe, and Cloak.
