The Phoenix is an extraordinary animal in the Harry Potter universe, and in Hogwarts Legacy, you can also bring the legendary creature into your vivarium. We’ll tell you where to find the phoenix!
This is the Vivarium: The Vivarium is a part of the Room of Requirement and houses all the magical creatures you save during your adventure. As you progress through the game, you’ll unlock more vivariums representing different zones. You can read how to unlock your Room of Requirement here.
How to get a phoenix in Hogwarts Legacy
Once you have unlocked the vivarium in your Room of Requirement, follow the main story. You will be able to catch a phoenix later in the game. Once you have completed the 3rd trial in the story, Deek will want to talk to you in the Room of Requirement. He has already told you about a phoenix he was supposed to catch for his old master. Now he’s heard that Poachers are hunting one of these legendary mythical creatures, and he wants you to save it in the Phoenix Rising side mission.

Here you will find the phoenix: To capture the phoenix, you must travel south. The quest marks the location; Phoenix Mountain Cave. However, to get to the south, you can’t just walk or fly over the mountain; you have to walk through an imposing goblin lair.
Tip: As long as you don’t fly around on your broom, the navigation will guide you to the entrance of the goblin lair.
Once you arrive at the Phoenix Mountain Cave, fight through a few poachers and spiders until you reach the phoenix’s nesting place at the end. Here you can capture the phoenix without any problems. When you return to the Room of Requirements, you will get a new vivarium where you release the phoenix.
Note: Currently, there is no second phoenix in the game. At least, no one seems to have found one yet. You can get phoenix feathers every half hour from the phoenix, which you need to cast strong bonuses on your clothes.
