Did you get Starfield by subscribing to Xbox Gamepass? Would you like to add it to Steam instead? Look no further as in this guide, you’ll learn how to add Starfield to Steam from Gamepass.
Steam is well known for being possibly the best PC game distribution service. So, it comes as no surprise that most players would like to keep all their games there. Despite popular belief, it’s possible to transfer games from Gamepass to Steam, including Starfield. It’s not a difficult process at all, so follow these simple instructions to do just that.
For this to work, you need to use a third-party app called UWPHook. You can download it here. Once you’re in this app, you will see all your installed games.
You may run into a minor problem here - it may show the Starfield Artbook.exe file instead of the game itself. To fix this, go into your Xbox app and uninstall the Artbook. This should solve the issue and Starfield should show up properly in UWPHook.
After this, simply click on Starfield in UWPHook and choose “Export to Steam.” You should now see Starfield in your Steam library.
