Deutsch English

Factions are an important part of the gameplay, and it is almost impossible to refrain from joining one of them. Moreover, you will receive many bonuses and useful items, depending on the faction you joined. And in this guide, you’ll learn how to join the Freedom Rangers and get the Deadeye Revolver in Starfield.

You can join the noble faction easily, even though it is the second largest one in Settled Systems. Without further ado, let’s move!

Starfield: How to Join the Freedom Rangers

Starfield: Daniel Blake

To join this faction, you will need to complete the Job Gone Wrong quest, which will become available to you after you arrive in Akila City. There, you will meet Daniel Blake, who will introduce you to the situation and the main goal of this quest will be to rescue hostages from bank robbers.

You will have a long conversation with the robbers, and if you do everything right, they will let the hostages go. Otherwise, you will have to kill them and rescue the hostages. Keep in mind that if one of the victims dies, it can negatively affect your membership in the Freedom Rangers.

If you have done everything right, you will be able to join the faction and complete tasks to get the Deadeye Revolver.

Starfield: How to Get Deadeye Revolver

Starfield: Deadeye Revolver

To get the Get Deadeye Revolver, you will need to partially complete the Deputized mission. Marshal Daniel Blake wants to make you a deputy, but you’ll need to talk to Emma Wilcox first. For this, follow the next steps:

  • You can find her by visiting the Akila city center.
  • Not far from the gate of the spaceport is The Rock bar, so go to the second floor to see her at one of the tables. After talking to her, you will learn that she is ready to give you a badge when you prove yourself worthy of joining the Freedom Rangers.
  • There is one way to do this, and that is to complete a mission with the Freestar Mission Board. It is located near the stairs in the same bar, just go up and interact with it to get the task.
  • There will be 4 quests to choose from, but only 1 of them will be enough to satisfy Emma Wilcox. All missions are similar, and you will have to kill someone or rescue hostages.
  • After completing one of the given missions, go back to The Rock to talk to Emma Wilcox again.
  • She will lead you to Marshal Blake’s office, where you will be offered to become a deputy. After you agree, you will be given a uniform and a service weapon, which is the Deadeye Revolver.

Now you have received the desired weapon and, if you’d like, you can continue with the mission, where you will need to find and kill the robbers. And if you are looking for more content, then be sure to check out our guide on how to find the Heart of Mars in Starfield.
