You'll meet Kurt Hansen in battle at the very end of the game, and the fight will be difficult if you don't know how to deal with him. In this guide, we will show you how to beat Kurt Hansen in Cyberpunk 2077.

Before killing the boss completely, we fought him several times to fully study his strategy, strengths, and weaknesses. To be well-prepared and skillfully counterattack Colonel Hansen, follow the instructions below.

Cyberpunk 2077: Preparing for the Fight With Kurt Hansen

So, before you go into battle, you will need to prepare carefully to avoid delaying this event for a long time. To be as prepared as possible, consider the following tips:

• Stock up on medicine: Probably the most logical advice, as you will be in for a rather difficult and long battle. The boss will have 2 phases, so you'll need to stock up on enough medicine and use it wisely during the fight.
• Choose a powerful weapon: To avoid being defeated, you'll have to choose the best weapon that will do the most damage to the enemy. Among the ones we used, the light machine gun and Rasetsu proved to be the best. In the first case, we showered the enemy with bullets without giving him a chance to maneuver, while with the help of a sniper rifle, we dealt precise powerful shots, and then dodged the enemy's attacks.
• Save the game: Before you go into battle, we recommend saving the game so that you don't have to go through the whole process again, but rather try once more.
• Create a good build: To counter Kurt Hansen, we recommend upgrading your Body and Reflexes to have enough health and quickly react to the enemy's attacks.

Cyberpunk 2077: Strategy for Fighting Against Kurt Hansen

So, when you finally enter the battle with Colonel Hansen, you should keep in mind a few tips on how to fight him. The battle against the boss can be divided into 2 phases, namely:

• Phase 1: The enemy, along with his two mercenaries, will shoot at you trying to do as much damage as possible. In this case, we recommend that you first kill the mercenaries and then focus on the boss. Don't stand in one place, try to keep moving all the time, avoiding his attacks and shooting back. As soon as the boss's health reaches 50%, the second phase will begin.
• Phase 2: Compared to Phase 1, now you will have a much harder time fighting Kurt Hansen. The thing is that the boss becomes more aggressive and faster. In addition, he will also use a new attack on you. First, he will throw a knife at you and then try to strangle you. At the end of this move, he'll throw you to the ground, and the problem is that you can't heal during this combo. To avoid a tragic ending, we have found one good method to avoid this deadly combo altogether. All you need to do is climb on one of the containers, then move and attack while only on them. This way, the boss loses the opportunity to throw a knife at you and strangle, which makes the fight much easier. Keep shooting until his health reaches 1%, after which he will kneel, and you can finish him off with his own knife.

Kurt Hansen Rewards

Once you do, you'll be quite surprised because the rewards for killing Kurt Hansen are very generous, namely:

• Fang: The same knife he used in the battle against you, a powerful throwing weapon.
• Bald Eagle: A revolver that is combined with the Fang. If you throw the Fang at one of the enemy's limbs, you can shoot them with this revolver to shatter the limb and return the Fang to your hands.
• Wild Dog: Another good and powerful weapon because each time you hit an enemy, your fire rate and the chance of a critical hit increase arithmetically.

Of course, you can spare Kurt Hansen and get the NUSA medal and 30,000 Eurodollars from President Myers, but in our opinion, the weapon you get after the kill is much better.
