How To Board & Repair Nia Kalu's Ship in Starfield

After the successful completion of the Deputized mission, your task is to report back to Marshal Daniel Blake and then help the injured Nia Kalu. This guide provides instructions on how to board and repair Nia Kalu's ship in Starfield.

Where Hope Is Built is a Freestar Collective side-quest in which you must meet Nia Kalu. She will introduce you to Ron Hope, who will provide you with additional information about the mercenaries you encountered on Montara Luna. Below is a step-by-step tutorial on how to help Nia Kalu fix the ship.

Starfield Where Hope Is Built: How To Board & Repair Nia Kalu's Ship

To find Nia Kalu and help her with a ship, go to Polvo's orbit in the direction of Marshal Daniel Blake. Once there, you will enter a patrolled area and be checked for contraband. You don't need to worry if you are not carrying anything illegal. During this, you will hear an SOS signal from Nia Kalu.

Head towards the mission marker, i.e. the Nia Kalu ship, which cannot move. When you reach 400-500 metres, ensure you're aiming at the exact ship. Dock and go inside.

Exit the cabin and go straight to the ladder. Go down to the second floor and find Nia Kalu. Reassure her that you were sent by Marshal Daniel Blake to help her and that you are not planning to steal her ship. Then she will ask you to help her repair the ship. The breaks are located in three different places on each floor:

1. The Navigation Computer Assembly, located on the same floor as Nia, is the first component to be found. Proceed to the opposite side of the ship and perform the necessary repairs. Failure to do so will render the ship unable to navigate in space.
2. Additionally, the Thruster Control Relays are experiencing arcing and glowing. Go up to the third floor and just before reaching the last room on the left, you'll come across a malfunction that needs repairing.
3. The Landing Gear Control Circuits should be checked last. Search for it on the first floor. Go downstairs and enter the technical area of the ship. Go to the end of the room. There you will find the Landing Gear Control.

Return to Nia Kalu after completing all the repairs. She will provide you information on where to look for those who attacked her.
