Lego Fortnite: How to Craft an Epic Pickaxe

Lego Fortnite: Epic Pickaxe

Considering that this pickaxe is the best in the game, the resources you'll need to get it are difficult to obtain. In addition, you will also need Epic Workbench to access the recipe for this tool. We'll explain how to make Epic Workbench below, but for now, let's focus on the resources you need for the pickaxe:

  • Obsidian Slab x8: To get this resource, go to the cave with Rare Pickaxe. Next, move down until you see the lava because obsidian spawns near it. Collect the obsidian and take it back to the village to turn it into an Obsidian Slab with the help of Stonebreaker.
  • Frostpine Rods x5: An extremely difficult resource to obtain, as it requires you to have an Epic Forest Axe. So, first, you will need to get Frostpines by cutting down trees in the snow biome. Don't forget to bring Spicy Peppers to protect yourself from the cold. Once you have enough Frostpines, go to the village and use the Lumber Mill to turn them into Frostpine Rods.

As mentioned above, without the proper rarity of the Work Bench, you can't access the Epic Pickaxe recipe. According to the rarity of the pickaxe, you will need to craft an Epic Work Bench, which is also not an easy task. So, here's a list of all Work Bench levels, and the resources you have to modify it:

Rarity Resources
Common Working Bench
  • Wood x3
  • Granite x5
Uncommon Working Bench
  • Shells x3
  • Planks x8
Rare Working Bench
  • Sand Shells x3
  • Sand Claws x6
  • Knotroot Rods x12
  • Marble Slabs x15
Epic Working Bench
  • Brute Scale x1
  • Copper Bars x15
  • Obsidian Slabs x25

It's worth noting that some of the required resources will need to be mined with a higher level of pickaxe. Thus, you will need to improve the Work Bench, create pickaxes to be able to dig up resources, such as obsidian, and improve the construction again to achieve the result. Once the Epic Workbench is ready, you can eventually create an Epic Pickaxe, following the recipe above.
