Before you can get the Gem Cutter, you need to go through the crafting of numerous other items and crafting stations. So, follow this step-by-step guide to succeed:
First, you need to build a Lumber Mill. To accomplish it, you will need the following resources:
Once the Lumber Mill is built, use it to craft 8 Planks. Each Plank is made from 1 Wood, so this is not a difficult task.
Next, go to the grass biome and kill some Rollers to get 3 Shells.
Thanks to the resources you collected in the previous steps, you will be able to upgrade the Crafting Bench to Uncommon.
Use the Lumber Mill to craft 3 Wooden Rods from 3 Woods.
You need to kill 3 Skeletons to get 6 Bones. You can find these enemies almost everywhere at night, or in caves.
Craft the Uncommon Forest Axe on your brand-new Crafting Bench.
The next step is to use the Uncommon Axe to collect twenty-three Knotroots. The Knotroots are located in a cave, but be careful because of the high level of danger.
Go back to your Lumber Mill and craft 3 Knotroot Rods.
You can now make an Uncommon Pickaxe using the Crafting Bench.
For the next crafting station, you will need a Marble. So go to the cave and get fifty-five Marbles.
Go back home and build a Stone Breaker.
Use the Stone Breaker to craft twenty Marble Slabs.
Next, go to Sand Biome and collect the following resources:
