While traveling to different planets in Starfield, you can complete various tasks to earn money. One of these ways to make good income is to sell survey data of different planets to special NPCs. To get paid, you need to find out all the necessary information about the planet, its features, resources, flora and fauna, and so on. In this guide, we will tell you how to survey Earth 100% in Starfield.
Some players have difficulty finding some of the resources and features of the Earth, but by following our instructions you can easily collect all the information you need to make the survey 100% complete.
As with any other planet, first scan the Earth from orbit before landing. In general, most resources are not difficult to locate, so this shouldn't be a problem for you. Just scan all the landmarks. Some players complain that the only resource that is difficult to find is Mercury. It can be found in virtually any Cave, just look around to see its icon.

Once you've found and scanned all the resources, you'll need to find the Earth's trait. To accomplish this, you need to navigate to the landmarks called Unknown, and when you get close enough, they should show up as an Unexplored Geological Feature. You will have to scan two of these points. Note that not all Unknown waypoints can have Unexplored Geological Feature, just walk around the surface of the planet to find them. If you are uncertain if you have already scanned it, look for the highlighting. If it is solid, you have already scanned it, and if there is only an outline, you have not yet. And the same works with resources, though.
Once you do this, your Earth survey should be 100% complete. By the way, before you go, check out our guide on how to mine Large Deposits in Starfield.
