The quest "The Lion’s Crest" in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an exclusive pre-order bonus. Your task is to locate the legendary armor of Prince Brunswick. This guide will show you where to find each piece of the set.

Quick Overview:

  • The "Lion’s Crest" quest requires you to find multiple unique armor pieces.
  • All pieces are hidden in the Trosky region.
  • Locations include the Chapel in the Rocks, a wolf hunting spot, a cliff with a cross, a cross with a skeleton, and a treasure hunters’ camp.

What the "Lion’s Crest" Quest is About

If you pre-ordered Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 before its official release on February 4, you gain access to the exclusive "Lion’s Crest" quest, where you embark on a special hunt for legendary armor. This set once belonged to Prince Brunswick, a brave knight from Czech folklore, who, according to legend, wielded a magical sword and introduced the lion to the country’s coat of arms.

However, Brunswick’s armor isn’t found in one single location. Instead, its individual pieces are scattered across the Trosky region. By solving riddles, you’ll receive hints leading to five key locations where the armor parts are hidden.

If you don’t feel like deciphering every clue yourself, we’ve got you covered. Below, you’ll find detailed directions and visual guides that will lead you straight to Brunswick’s armor. We've also marked all locations on the in-game map and included screenshots to help you navigate.

1. Brunswick’s Armor Pieces at the Chapel in the Rocks

What you’ll find here:

  • Brunswick’s Dagger
  • Gauntlets
  • Two treasure maps

Where to find: North of Trosky Castle, deep in the forest.

How to get there: Follow the northern path from Trosky Castle for a while until you reach a ravine. Keep an eye out for a narrow rock crevice, surrounded by greenery on both sides. Inside this small opening, you’ll spot a shrine or grave with candles lighting the way. Use your shovel to dig up the grave, and you’ll find the armor pieces.

2. Brunswick’s Armor Pieces in the Wolf Hunting Spot

What you’ll find here:

  • Chain Coif
  • Leg Plates
  • A horse blanket
  • Third treasure map

Where to find: West of the "Chapel in the Rocks" and north of Tachov.

How to get there: In the wolf hunting spot, look for two tall trees standing very close together. Between their roots, in a small depression, you’ll find a sack containing the armor pieces. However, be cautious—wolves roam this area, and they won’t take kindly to intruders.

3. Brunswick’s Armor Piece at the Cliff with a Cross

What you’ll find here:

  • Plate Pauldrons
  • Fourth treasure map

Where to find: North of Vidlak Pond (see map below).

How to get there: In the marked area, look for a fallen tree leaning against a cliff. The cliff is rounded and not too wide. Walk across the tree to reach the rock platform, where you’ll see a cross and a brown wooden chest. Open it to claim your next armor piece.

4. Brunswick’s Armor Piece at the Cross with a Skeleton

What you’ll find here: Brigandine (Chest Armor)

Where to find: West-southwest of Tachov, deep in the forest.

How to get there: Explore the marked area on horseback and look for a tree where a skeleton is leaning against the trunk. To the right of the skeleton, there’s a large stone cross. Near the skeleton’s left hand, there’s an object—interact with it to retrieve the armor. Additionally, just a short distance down the slope, you’ll find another cross, where you can pick up a gemstone ring.

5. Brunswick’s Final Armor Piece in the Treasure Hunter’s Camp

What you’ll find here:

  • Brunswiek’s Helmet
  • A special die for the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 dice game

Where to find: Northeast of the Nomad Camp (see map marker below).

How to get there: Look for a large pile of rocks with a white cross on top—this marks the location of Brunswiek’s helmet. However, don’t expect to simply walk into the treasure hunter’s camp and claim your prize. Several enemies guard the area, so you’ll need to deal with them first.
