In the survival adventure Raft, you need sand to produce bricks and glass. This guide will show you where to find sand and how to farm it.
What it’s about: Sand is a relatively easy raw material to find, and you'll need it to make bricks. So grab your equipment, and we'll show you where to find sand and how to farm it.
Like other raw materials, such as clay, you can find sand at the bottom of the ocean. However, you should not try to dive into the depths in the middle of the sea. Instead, look for the smaller islands that sometimes rise out of the water and set a course for them.
Around the islands, you will usually find a reef or a mountainous underwater structure. Search the underwater ground near the shore. There you will find small lumps of sand, which you can harvest.
Tip: When you are exploring an island, or you are investigating the bottom of the ocean, you should moor your raft with an anchor. Otherwise, you may return and find your raft has moved on without you.

Now that you've found an island and discovered the sand lumps underwater, we'll tell you how to farm the sand. This is just as easy as farming clay and metal. Just use the hook. You have this tool from the beginning, but here again, is the recipe you need to build a simple hook:
Tip: Remember that the shark will attack you while diving. Either kill it beforehand to buy yourself some time until the next shark or make a shark bait out of 2 herrings and a rope. This will distract the shark for a short time.
