That's what it's all about: In Raft, you have different options to move your raft. In the beginning, you just let yourself drift and start with a paddle in your first attempts to determine your course yourself. Sails can help you later. Probably the most relaxed option is a motor/engine to power your raft. We'll show you where to find the machinery and ingredients to make your own 100 percent natural fuel. To get natural fuel, you need to follow some steps. Here we show you step by step what equipment you need, where to find it, and from what ingredients you can produce your own biofuel.
It all starts with Research: To produce biofuel, you need a Biofuel Refinery. As with other more complex machines in Raft, you can't unlock the refinery directly at the research table. You first need the blueprint.
The blueprint for the Biofuel Refinery is located on Balboa Island at Ranger Station.
You can find the blueprint for the fuel refinery on Balboa Island. More precisely, in the Ranger Station. There you will find the plan on one of the tables.
The Building Materials: To build the refinery, you need some raw materials. We have listed them all so that you can quickly start producing natural fuel. For the refinery, you need the following materials:
The Ingredients: You can use different ingredients to make biofuel. The most important ingredient is honey. You can obtain it from beehives and flowers. The second ingredient can be any raw food. Here you can use any food and turn it into biofuel. However, some ingredients fill the refinery's container faster than others. For example, for one unit of fuel, you need 20 beets or only 5 herrings. You can also mix the ingredients wildly.
The Preparation: Once you have put the ingredients into the refinery, it will take you about 3.5 minutes to produce one unit of fuel. You can then use this to power your battery charger or, of course, the engines for your raft.
