Where is it located? The Modern Axe is located relatively centrally on the map, west of the mountain. So you don’t have to explore through a winding cave or kill dozens of enemies. Compared to the pistol, you also don’t have to swim out to sea and indulge in your thalassophobia. The exact location is on the west of the map opposite the large beach and bay. You can check the location on our specially measured and revealed map.
Go to the marked spot on the map, here you will also find a GPS device that you will need to progress through the story. You will find some of your fellow soldiers here, one of them is practicing belly swimming in a puddle. The other one you will find at a tent, with the Modern Axe stuck in his sternum.
How good is the Modern Axe, and what is the alternative?
As mentioned above, the Modern Axe is a very good starter weapon and tool. However, the Modern Axe is not perfect in Sons of The Forest but ranks in the middle. For felling trees, the fire axe or the chainsaw is better suited. For combat, you’ll use the Katana or firearms.
